I choose hemophilia as my topic because this is a disease that can only be inherited, you cannot get it from another person. I also chose this project because during in my Biology class with Ms. Kerner I made a project about this genetically inherited disease and it impacted me because there has been a long time knowing about the disease but scientist around the world have not found a cure, yet.

Hemophilia is a disorder that the body cant produce clotting factor. Is pass on by your parents in genetics. There are two kinds of Hemophilia A & B. When getting cut clotting factor cant be produce & making it hard to stop bleeding. However, there is internal bleeding that could cause many damages to the human body such brain damage, bruises, affecting every organ system in the human body, and death. There is no cure but there are treatments that could help clot the blood such as Replacement Therapy and FDA.
